Jeff Westreich joined Kraft Berger in 1991 after working with a national firm and became an assurance and advisory partner in January 1999. Proficient in accounting and assurance, specifically Canadian ASPE and IFRS, Jeff leads his team on a multitude of assurance and consulting engagements. Jeff’s focus includes consultation for public companies and specialized knowledge of the mining industry. His collaborative approach allows him to effectively work with management of his diverse client base. With an emphasis on delivering valuable advice and timely service, Jeff takes pride in being involved in a company’s growth.

In 1987, Jeff graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto. He went on to earn his CA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario in 1991. Jeff has successfully completed an in-depth GAAP course, and in 2012, he completed the IFRS Certificate Program and the IFRS 2 Immersion course sponsored by the CICA. Jeff is the previous editor of Finance & Accounting PolicyPro, co-published by the CICA and First Reference. Beyond his profession, Jeff enjoys playing hockey, and coaching soccer, hockey and baseball.
