Jerry Dykopf has been a partner at the firm since 1986 and he is an integral part of Kraft Berger’s tax team. Jerry has extensive experience and expertise in complex domestic and cross-border taxation matters. His cross-border clients include Canadian corporations and individuals who conduct business in the U.S. and conversely U.S. corporations and individuals who conduct business in Canada. Jerry has a diverse client base, which includes corporate executives, athletes and entertainers. Jerry graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto in 1977 and earned his CA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario in 1980. His many accomplishments include authoring the Taxation of Trust Tax Update for the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants and a taxation course for the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators. Jerry has been a special lecturer on accounting and tax issues in the Master of Business Administration program, Master of Accounting program, and Bachelor of Commerce program at the University of Toronto. He was also a speaker at the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants’ annual conference and update courses, and at the Society of Certified Management Accountants.
